Visitors Whitchurch were then all out for 131 in reply with Kristian Rogers (70) getting the lion’s share of their runs. Sam Swingwood took 4-30 while Alim Hansraj and Henry Breeze bagged themselves two wickets apiece.

Monmouth remain just three points clear of Blackwood who defeated Radyr by 51 runs. Rob Birch top scored with 136 in Blackwood’s massive total of 366-8 batting first.

Andrew Shelton then took 4-28 off 3.3 overs as Radyr were all out for 315 in reply with Lloyd (61) and Rhys Mander (54) top scoring for them.

In Division Three Sully Centurions still lead the way after a six-wicket victory at Dinas Powys.

Kieron Ferriday and Gareth Thomas both took three wickets as hosts Dinas were all out for 161 batting first with Sully then getting the runs in 26.5 overs thanks to 61 from opener Rhett Jones and 36 not out from Callum Taylor.

Creigiau remain six points behind after their victory by 123 runs at Barry Wanderers.

In Division Four, leaders Newport thirds are now 48 points clear at the top after beating Abercarn by 96 runs in their top-of-the-table clash.

Newport made 308-7 batting first with Pravin De Silva (59), Mohammad Aqdas Rizvi (57), Syed Talah Ubaid (59) and Tom Josham (61) all making half centuries.

Abercarn were then all out for 212 in reply with Dafydd Hale top scoring for them with 57 while Mark Franklin made 44 as Charlie Stewart took 4-50.

Meanwhile, after nine wins on the bounce from the start of the campaign, Division Five leaders Lisvane thirds suffered their first defeat as they were beaten by 63 runs at home by Radyr thirds. Mark Rogers struck 60 as Radyr reached 176-9 off 40 before bowling Lisvane out for 113 in reply.
