Have a say on gas services

-

WITH the country basking in sunshine for much of the last few weeks, it’s little wonder that most people haven’t been thinking about their gas supply.

And they’d be forgiven for not knowing who Wales & West Utilities are.

But we provide an essential service, keeping the gas flowing so people are safe and warm in their homes.

We provide the national gas emergency service for Wales and south west England and invest £2m a week looking after the gas network.

You pay for our services through your gas bill. Currently, our charges make up 20% of an annual gas bill – so for the average gas bill of £630, that’s £128 a year – or only 35 pence per day.

So this summer we want you to have your say on the future of the gas network and the services we provide.

We want to know what you think about the gas emergency service, the investment we make to keep the gas network safe and reliable and how we support those most in need.

We also want your views on how we can prepare the gas network for a greener future, making sure it can continue to deliver essential services for generations to come.

Our quick and easy to respond consultation questions are easily accessible at PipeUpOnline.co.uk – so remember to have your say before it closes on August 17.

Your views are essential in shaping our business, and your gas network, for the future. Graham Edwards Chief Executive Wales & West Utilities
