Garw Valley Tennis Club: Garw Valley Tennis Club will be holding their finals day on Saturday, October 15 at 10am. Everyone is welcome and there will be free refreshments. Parents and grandparents are invited to come along and watch the children play and receive their trophies.

Pontycymer RFC: On Saturday, September 29, Pontycymer rugby club welcome Cwmllynfell to Lawrence Park for a division three west central ‘B’ game. The kick off is at 2.30pm.

Blaengarw & Coedely CC: On Friday, September 21, members of Blaengarw and Coedely cricket club attended the end of season Wales Cricket Board gala dinner at Sophia Gardens, where they were presented with the division six runners up trophy.

A huge well done to all involved and good luck in division five next season. On Thursday, September 20. KPC Youth & Community (next to Pil Primary) are holding a coffee morning from 9am-10.30am in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief

We will be joined at 9.30am by the Choir from Pil Primary School, and this will be followed by Fun Bingo & Raffle.

Admission is just £1 includes Coffee/Biscuits, Cake will be on sale.

Please spread the word to friends, family etc., and help us make this event a great success for Macmillan.

Also please come along and support the children from Pil Primary School.
