BAVO: Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations is offering free-pre booked one-toone appointments at the Ynysawdre Parish Room on Wednesday, October 24 for local groups to meet staff from the big lottery fund to discuss application for funding for their projects.

Half hour minute meetings are available by appointment only.

Every year the Big Lottery Fund distributes millions of pounds of National Lottery funding to good causes.

It funds not-forprofit and voluntary organisations to deliver projects that improve health, education, environment and improve the lives of people and communities most in need.

It can fund capital or revenue projects and has two grants available, Awards for All Wales which distributes grants from £300 to £10,000 and People and Places which distributes grants from £10,001 to £500,000 for projects lasting up to five years.

Both funds have recently had some changes, so you are strongly advised to check the eligibility of your project on the Big Lottery Fund website www.biglotteryfund.org. uk in the guidance notes for either fund before making an appointment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for voluntary organisations, so don’t miss out!
