Shaping Bridgend’s Future 2019: For anyone interested in Shaping Bridgend County Borough Council’s Future over the coming year and wishes to find out how to join the Citizens Panel or how they can get involved in the process then a trip to Porthcawl Library in Church Place on Saturday, October 5 th 9.30am–1pm should be a must.

Porthcawl Male Voice Choir: To those of you who missed their Annual Concert you have another chance to catch up with the choir when they put on a Charity Concert in aid of LATCH at All Saint’s Church in Victoria Avenue on Saturday, October 5th at 7pm when they are joined by Polperro Fisherman’s Choir. Put it in your diary and more details are to follow.

Finally, the Choir is holding an open day on Tuesday, October 2 at Arlington Road Presbyteri­an Church (Off South Road-with the old Surgery on the corner) If you are interested then go along and see what they do and how much fun they have doing it!

Porthcawl Befriendin­g Group: The Porthcawl Befriendin­g Group provides free activities for lonely people and those who want to befriend them.

Free tea/coffee while chatting around a table, free bingo and table games, beginners Health and Wellbeing Tai Chi. etc. Members can bring children but regrettabl­y no pets.

Where is this you may ask?

Griffin Park Community Centre in New Road from 11am12noon every Wednesday. Membership is free but numbers are limited.
