Scouts Christmas

Fayre: The 3rd Bridgend Scouts are holding a great Christmas Craft Fayre at the Scout Hall, Llangewydd Road, Bryntirion on Sunday, November 24 from 10am4pm.

There will be Hot

Drinks and cakes, more than 30 stalls to browse including glass bead making and demonstrat­ion, wood burning (you may try your hand) Vegan bath bombs, candles, children’s messy play, sand art, bespoke cards, knitting, sewing, felt and lots more.

All welcome and Admission is Free. Your support will be greatly appreciate­d and you may be able to purchase some really good Christmas presents for your loved ones.

Don’t miss a colourful display for everyone to enjoy.

Laleston Gardening Club: Members are reminded that the Annual Quiz and Social Evening takes place on Monday, November 11 at the usual time of 7.30pm.

This is sure to be popular and those attending need not be daunted by the questions as all the answers are multiple choice so it is always possible to hazard a guess!

Pauline Sloan will be the Quiz Master so it is bound to be a fun evening, with refreshmen­ts to follow.

Chees And Wine

Evening: St David’s Social Committee are organising a Cheese and Wine Evening in the Gardening Club, Laleston on Friday, November 8.
