Charitable Concert: The Sound of Choral Music filled the air on Friday, October 11 when the Ogmore Valley Male

Voice Choir gave a charity concert at St Tyfodwg’s Church, Glynogwr.

It was a second visit for the popular choir and once again the

Church was full, with an appreciative audience.

A variety of Welsh, English and Polish songs were included in their repertoire, some which were old and remembered and others which were new, but nevertheless proved to be popular with those present.

Among the appreciative audience was Mr Chris Elmore, MP for the Ogmore Constituency who has regularly supported events at the Church over the years.

The proceeds from the concert included a donation to the very worthy charity known as “Dreams and Wishes” whose work included support for families with terminally ill children.

The generosity of all who attended was much appreciated, in addition to purchasing tickets for the concert; donations were given on the night, a very big thank you to everyone for their generosity.

There were too those who purchased tickets who could not attend but wished their donation to be given to the charity, grateful thanks to those also.

Refreshments were provided after the concert by the hard working ladies that everyone enjoyed.
