Harmony Christmas Concert: Harmony Ladies Choir are having their Charity Christmas Concert in aid of raising money for this years charity which will be the Alzheimer’s Society.
If you would like to come and enjoy an evening of music, laughter, sherry and mince pies to help you get into the spirit of Christmas.
Please come and support us to help raise as much money as possible for this well deserving charity, this event will take place at St Davids Church, Maesteg on Wednesday, December 11.
Doors open 6.30pm7pm and tickets can be bought for £5 from choir members or contact

Meeting: The Llynfi Valley Historical Society (LVHS) held its second meeting of the season at Maesteg Town Council offices. The speaker was Beverley Gulley from Margam WI.
As part of their First World War Remembrance activities, she prepared an exhibition showing the part women played in this war.
She spoke eloquently for an hour using examples of the activities of local women to illustrate the role played by women.
Her talk was warmly received by all present.
Ramblers: Maesteg Ramblers meet on Sunday, December 15, the walk will be Glyncorrwg 2. Meeting at Maesteg car park at 9am.
