High Heels at 7.30pm.

Thursday, December 26 – The Jimmy Walker Memorial Match. Llangeinor AFC v Pontycymer RFC. Kick off is at 11am. Live music from The Residents at 3.30pm.

Friday, December

Wednesday, January 1 – Live music from the awesome The Replicas at 4.30pm.

Pre-Xmas Lunch: If you fancy a pre Christmas Lunch pint, Pontycymer Rugby Club will be open on Christmas morning from 11am-2pm. All are welcome.

Valley Ravens: It was great to see so many future stars taking the field at Ogmore Park last Sunday.

All age groups of the Valley Ravens mini/junior sections hosted teams from Tondu, Cowbridge, Cwmavon, Bridgend Athletic, and Pencoed.

A huge thank you to the helpers who set up The Christmas Cabin at the side of the field serving turkey, stuffing andcranberry rolls, pigs in blankets, deluxe hot chocolate and mulled wine. Two valleys. Two Clubs. One Valley Ravens.

Rugby Match Result: Tondu 2nd XV 36 v Pontycymmer 2nd XV 14.

Recently, Pontycymer’s second string travelled to Pandy Park for this Friday night friendly, and in a hard fought game it was the Water Wheelers that came out on top.

The visitors’ points came via a try each for back row star, Scott Forester and scrum half, Richie Howells, with pivot Corey Harris slotting over both conversations.
