Blaenogwr, Nantymoel: Every Thursday Red Tooth Poker League. Registrati­on is 7.30pm, game starts at 8pm and Saturday nights Karaoke disco from 8pm.

Don’t forget we have started a Sunday carvery so why not call in for your Sunday lunch from noon-4pm.

Nantymoel Boys & Girls Club: Why not go along to the new cafe at the club open 10am-1pm every day for teas, coffees, food, cakes etc.

Also, they have a book swap club where you can have a tea or coffee while picking your books to take home to read and after reading them take them back to swap for some more.

The ladies help out running this voluntary so please go along and support them and the club.

Valley Ravens: On Friday, February 14, in conjunctio­n with the Valley Ravens mini/ junior rugby section, the Welsh Wrestling Star’s come to South Wales.

Why not kick off the half term holidays in style, with a night packed full of live wrestling entertainm­ent.

The venue is

Blaengarw Rugby Club, CF32 8NN, doors open 6.15pm with a 7pm start.

Tickets cost£8 and from Valley Ravens team managers or by phone on 07970 996 291.

There will be bar, refreshmen­ts, raffle plus much more. All welcome.

Valley Ravens RFC: Recently the Valley Ravens under 7s, 8s and 9s hosted teams from Bryncoch, Porthcawl and Ystrad Rhondda, on a very wet Sunday morning at Lawrence Park, Pontycymme­r, in what was another great advert for grassroots mini rugby.
