- RUTH MOSALSKI ruth.mosalski@walesonline.co.uk

ON May 6, voters in Wales will choose the people they want to represent them in the Senedd.

The elections will see 60 people selected to be Members of the Senedd.

Every voter gets two votes, one for their constituency and one for their region.

Every constituency elects one person and four people are chosen from each region.

The person who wins the most votes on the constituency list is voted in, the regional list uses a form of proportional representation.

In the last election, in 2016, Labour won 29 seats, Plaid Cymru 12, the Conservatives 11, Ukip had seven seats and there was one Liberal Democrat elected.
