A CAR has crashed into parked vehicles and landed on its side on a busy residential street.

A vehicle had been flipped onto its side after crashing into parked cars, which in turn mounted the pavement and hit a house.

The smash comes just two months after a speeding vehicle mounted the pavement on the opposite side of the road and took out four bollards.

Police said the latest incident was not the a result of speeding.

“Bridgend Road was closed for approximately one and a half hours for the vehicle to be recovered.

“Witnesses at the scene confirmed the car was not travelling at an excessive speed prior to the incident and the driver of the Astra was issued with a verbal warning.”
