Trelewis Welfare B 2-4 Aber Wanderers:

This was the Wanderers’ first game of the season and they started well, in the 21st minute, Callum Hasset opened his account and 11 minutes later it was 2-0 as

Kirby Davies got the second and an own goal saw the visitors with a comfortabl­e half time lead. Davies then got his second and it all looked well for the visitors.

But the home side then came back into the game and goals from C. Huxton and J. Rees made things very interestin­g, but, there were no further goals and the Wanderers left with the three points.

Trelewis Welfare 5-4 Trelewis Welfare B: This inte-club game threw up some surprises with the B side taking a two goal lead through J. Rees & L. Profit within 10 minutes. The A side then scored four before the break, through C. Martin, C. Jay & C. Clingo (2). G. Jones then got his brace to level the scores. The B side were then shattered when C.

Martin stepped up with his second and the winner.

Aberfan Rangers 0-2 Gurnos FC: In a close game, the visitors had the lead at the break through H. Stefan, as the home side pressed R. Davies dashed their hoped with the visitors second and the points were theirs. Georgetown BGC 2-1 Pantyscall­og VJ: This game was ruined by indiscipli­ne and in the end the home team took the points.

Aber Wanderers 6-0 Bail Glas: It was 3-0 at the break with P. Thomas, J. Baber and an own goal for the home side, in the second half Kirby Davies, Ethan Bevan & L. Davies made it a convincing win for the Wanderers.

Black Lion 1-2 Merthyr Saints:

With no goals at the break it was all to play for in the second half. Almost immediatel­y, Andre Maia got his first, then his second after 76 minutes. Black Lion pressed and were rewarded with a M. Rudge stoppage- time goal, but it wasn’t enough.

Georgetown BGC 3-2 Aber Wanderers: This was a game which went right to the last minute for excitement, the home team opened the scoring only for the visitors to reply to make it 1-1 at the break.

Georgetown had a strong period in the second half and went into a 3-1 lead only for the Wanderers to snatch one back late in the game, but Town held on for the points and remain unbeaten. Home goals came from Ben Jones, Liam Davies & Paul Sullivan with Paul Thomas & Callum Hasset netting for the visitors.

Gurnos FC 4-2 Bedlinog: R. Davies opened the scoring for the hosts with the visitors equalising through L. Jones, only for L. Davies to restore the home advantage. The second half saw R Williams-Clement equalise before M. Thomas & E. Thomas (pemalty) scored to ensure the home points.

Merthyr Saints 7-1 Bail Glas: Three first-half goals from the home side saw them with a comfortabl­e half time lead. This was extended by a further three goals before the visitors scored a consolatio­n through a wonder goal from James Jenkins, but Saints had the final word netting the seventh with five minutes to go.

Pantyscall­og VJ 3-0 Black Lion:

The Villagers held a narrow half-time lead through a goal by C. Davies,

in the second half, Chase Mullins stepped up with a spot kick to make it 2-0, J. Williams then made it safe with a 68 th minute goal. Trelewis Welfare B 3-4 Aberfan Rangers: S. James got the visitors underway only for C. Huxton to level before the break. C. Clarke for the visitors then Huxton got his second to make it 2-2.

C. Evans made it 2-3 before M. Morgan levelled, N. Freemantle then scored the winner for the visitors, and they left with the three points.
