Laleston Gardening Club: The comprehensive risk assessment carried out by Sue Ford, (chairman) has identified that ventilation needs to be improved in the main hall.

Consequently the committee have decided that the three mock sash windows that are in the hall need to be replaced with three operational sash windows that can be opened to ventilate the room.

Until this is done no full scale lectures or meetings can be arranged.

Sue has made considerable efforts to secure grant funding for this project, but has been thwarted at each stage of the application process.

Consequently the committee has decided the club will pay for the windows out of its own resources.

An order has been placed with a local joinery firm and it is hoped the ventilation problem will be solved very soon.
