Dinomania is returning to Merthyr Tydfil this April for a roarsome family adventure
Graham Way is set to become Merthyr Tydfil’s own version of Jurassic Park on Wednesday, April 5
If you’re looking for a totally roarsome adventure that the whole family can enjoy, look no further than the return of Dinomania, where kids and parents alike can get up close and personal to some of history’s most fearsome beasts.
Following the success of last year’s event, on Wednesday, April 5, the interactive dinosaur entertainment experience will once again be popping up in Graham Way, Merthyr Tydfil.
Head down between
11am and 2pm for a chance to immerse yourself in a prehistoric playground that features realistic walking dinosaurs, small interactive puppets, animatronics, fossils, replicas and more.
Some of their dinosaurs reach four metres in length, and can walk, blink and make realistic dinosaur noises.
For those a little more cautious, there’s some babies ready to meet the crowds too, including Bradley the baby brachiosaurus, Chip the infant raptor, Archie the ankylosaurus, and tiny Trixie the triceratops.
Dinomania is based in Swansea but travels all over the UK with its exciting dinosaur events and workshops.
With 900,000 YouTube subscribers and 1.5 million TikTok fans from all over the world, Ranger Chris and his dinosaurs even reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2022.
His team have done courses on subjects including paleobiology, the evolution of birds and prehistoric ecosystems, and are ready to share their knowledge with parents and kids alike.
