Glasgow Times

Audience panel will tell us what readers think

- By LOUISE HOUSTON

EVENING Times readers are being asked for their opinions as part of an audience forum.

In a new programme, the newspaper is recruiting members for a panel to find out readers’ views about our products.

The panel will give readers the opportunity to influence the future of their newspaper by taking part in surveys, providing feedback on articles and testing out new campaigns.

Those involved will also be able to put forward their ideas on the types of content they would like to see – whether it’s more of what’s already included, or less.

Opinions will be used to provide feedback to management and start a conversation around the future of the newspaper.

Newsquest, the UK company which owns the Evening Times, The Herald, the Sunday Herald and The National, is looking for feedback on how the paper and website can improve.

Graham Shields, Evening Times editor, said: “At the Evening Times we are passionate about providing the best coverage of what’s going on in our city.

“Our reporters are out and about every day uncovering the news and sport stories that make the Evening Times No.1 for Glasgow

“We really want to hear what readers think about our products in print and online at eveningtimes.co.uk.

“This is a great chance for readers to put forward their ideas on how we can best provide for them and their interests.”

Panel members will be entered into a reward scheme which includes monthly prize draws, for their contribution to the forum. Anyone interested in getting involved should contact etpanel@newsquest.co.uk
