EVENING Times readers have been snap happy in our new online Camera Club.

Almost 300 people have signed up to the club on Facebook since we launched last week and have been sharing their brilliant images from across the city and beyond.

We have been overwhelmed with the standard of submissions from our 270 members, who are all amateur photographers with a sharp eye and excellent camera skills.

Today we’ve picked some of our favourites which highlight the best parts of Glasgow and the West – from the flowing waterfalls in Rouken Glen and sparkling night time shots of the Clyde to residents enjoying sunshine in George Square.

Although each image is unique, they all demonstrate a clear talent for photography and an eye for detail.

To join our club, benefit from expert advice and get a chance to have your photographs published in print and on our website, visit Facebook.com and search for ‘The Evening Times Camera Club’. 1 The Duke of Wellington statue by Barry Thomson 2 The Colour Run by Ian Barr 3 The Cross at Eaglesham by Marian Roy 4 Clydeside by Ross Coyne 5 The Red Bull swimming event at Maryhill by Christine McKinnon 6 Strathclyde University’s Livingston Tower by Alex McPhail 7 Albion Street, once home to the ET, by Stuart McRae 8 The changeable weather of Glasgow by Andrew Russell 9 Royal Exchange Square by Gemma Graham 10 Rouken Glen Park by Fred Harryman 11 Chatting in George Square by Andrew Russell
