‘CARNAGE’ AFTER CITY BAR BRAWL

Two stabbed and man hit by car in horror scenes

CHAOS broke out at a city pub after two men were stabbed – with one also being hit by a car during the attack.

The brawl spilled out on to the street outside the venue, with onlookers describing scenes of carnage.

A murder bid probe has now been launched by investigat­ors.

Two men were stabbed numerous times,T and a woman was also injured in the chaos. One of the men is thought to have also been hit by a car during the attack. Paramedics rushed the three injured people to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where the two men remain in a stable condition.

Police are treating the attack on one of the men as attempted murder.

One eye witness described the scene on Saturday night as “carnage”.

He said: “I saw one guy on the ground bleeding badly, and paramedics were working on him for more than 30 minutes. “One guy got stabbed six times and another guy got stabbed five times and run over with a car while a big fight was in progress.”

The bar manager told the Evening Times she was unable to comment on the incident. Detective Sergeant Raymond Sagan, from Drumchapel CID, said: “From our CCTV inquiries so far, we can see that there is a large group of around 20 to 30 people standing outside who all witnessed what happened.

“It is absolutely crucial that these people come forward and speak to us as they will hold vital informatio­n that could help us trace whoever is responsibl­e for this violent attack. “Anyone with informatio­n is asked to contact officers at Drumchapel CID via 101.
