COPS have released images of a man wanted in connection with a shooting in Shawlands.
Officers believe the man in the footage may be able to help them with their enquiries into the incident last month.
Businessman Ross Craig, 34, was shot in the leg outside a house on Shawhill Road on March 9.
The gunman targeted Craig around 8.10am while he was reportedly leaving to drop his children off at nursery.
He was treated at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for a gunshot wound but was later released.
The man from the CCTV image is described as white, approximately 5ft7in and medium to stocky build.
On the day of the incident he was wearing a grey beanie hat, light coloured t-shirt, black trousers, a mid-length dark green khaki jacket, with an emblem on the sleeve, and black boots.
He is spotted on CCTV in Shawhill Road at the time of the incident and then towards Pollokshaws Road via Hector Road and Rossendale Road.
More than 200 members of the public were questioned as part of the investigation.
Detectives investigating the attempted murder returned to the area a week on from the attack to jog the memories of local people but have yet to make an arrest.
The attack was one of four shootings to happen in Glasgow in recent months.
Days before Craig was tar- geted, a 42-year-old man was gunned down on a quiet housing estate in Stepps,
In January, Ross Monaghan was shot on the school run outside St George’s primary in Penilee by a man pushing a pram while Euan Johnston, 26, was fatally gunned down as he sat in his car on Shields Road in November, last year.
As yet, there have been no arrests made in relation to the incidents, sparking calls from politicians for increased public safety.
Detective Superintendent Kenny Graham said: “There has been a number of inci- dents over the last few months and I completely understand that people are concerned that these are happening in residential areas, often in daylight and near schools.
“I do however, believe that these are targeted incidents, involving people concerned in serious and organised crime and we have a number of investigations under way to i dentify those responsible.”
Anyone with information about the man in the images released by police, is asked to contact the Incident Room at Cathcart Police Office via 101.
