GLASGOW and its people are to be showcased in a new exhibition hosted by the Evening Times.

Talented members of our Camera Club will have their work put on show as part of the event later this year.

We have teamed up with our friends at the St Enoch’s centre and People Make Glasgow to put on the show, aimed at highlighting everything the city has to offer.

Images selected to go on display will be focused on the theme of ‘Great Times in the City’, and all must feature people who contribute to Glasgow’s vibrant culture.

Evening Times editor Graham Shields said: “Glasgow is a wonderful city, but the people who live and visit are really what makes it an even more fantastic place to be.

“That’s why we are keen to show off the best images which highlight the people of the city in our unique exhibition

“I would encourage everyone to take part and shine a light on their favourite people, and parts, of Glasgow .”

Members of the Evening Times Camera Club should submit their images via our Facebook group, mentioning ‘Great Times in the City exhibition’ in the caption.

All entries will be reviewed after the closing date of August 13, 2017, before up to 20 of the best shots will be chosen to be put on display.

Entrants can submit as many images as they like, as long as they feature the people of the city.

To join our club, search for The Evening Times Camera Club on Facebook.
