this team. We’ll see what happens after that. It’s not really something I’ve given much thought to at the moment.”

Dorrans and Jack have been first picks for Rangers so far this term and again lined up together as Caixinha’s side beat Dundee 4-1 on Saturday.

Midfielder Carlos Pena got his first goal for the Light Blues since joining from Chivas and Dorrans reckons there is plenty more to come from the Mexican.

He said: “It takes people time to settle in. Al (Morelos) has hit the ground running.

“It might take Carlos a little bit longer but he’s got quality and he’s got his goal. Hopefully that will bring confidence out in him and he can continue to get goals for us.”

It was a comfortable afternoon at Ibrox as Caixinha’s side recorded their third win of the Premiership campaign.

Striker Morelos bagged a double to take his tally to seven in his last five games and Dorrans has been impressed with the Colombian kid so far this term.

Dorrans said: “He has done great. It’s obviously difficult for the boys coming over here from different countries but they’ve all helped each other settle in and the British boys have helped them as well.

“They’re settling in as a group. Long may it continue. If he keeps scoring, it will be great for us.

“He’s a natural scorer. You can see it every day in training. He’s a good finisher and he’s practising it so hopefully he can continue that in the games we have coming up.

“He’s a strong boy. He is still young so he’s in the gym every day doing his work.

“He’s got a good physique about him and he is strong on the ball. He’s a good finisher so hopefully he can continue and go on to better things for us.”
