Body found inside flat

THE BODY of a man has been discovered in a flat in Glasgow’s South Side.

Police rushed to the scene at Butterbiggins Road in Govanhill at around noon on Tuesday, October 3. The 61-year-old’s death is being treated as unexplained.

However police say it is not thought to be suspicious at this time.

Officers were at the scene yesterday carrying out investigations, with members of the public reporting a police presence in the area.
