“I don’t know,” he said when asked what the lack of big game wins is down to. “We are working hard. leading up to these games and we have got a plan, but at the minute the plans aren’t coming off.

“No, I don’t think [leadership is an issue]. We have experienced boys on the pitch – myself, Bruno [Alves], Tav (James Tavernier), people who have been here for a number of years now. I don’t believe leadership is lacking on the pitch, no.”
