years at Firhill before heading to New Douglas Park in the summer of 2016 only to be released in April.

The centre-back has been without a club ever since and had been training with the Sons with manager Stephen Aitken keen to discuss a deal in January, however Seabourne has opted to return south.

Aitken said: “Daniel has been in working with us for a few weeks and looked a really good player. He knew that there was nothing we could do until December however he has decided to take the deal that he has been offered now.”

“We wish him well with that.”

ST MIRREN defender Gary Mackenzie is back in training with the Paisley club after nearly four months out due to injury issues.

The 32-year-old started the season at the heart of the Saints rearguard however he has been missing since the 4-1 derby defeat from Morton in August after a head knock and an ankle injury.

The former Rangers and Dundee stopper is now working with the rest of Jack Ross’ squad however a playing comeback is still some weeks off with assistant manager James Fowler saying: “Gary has suffered from both a concussion and then an achilles problem.

“He is over them both now and is back training fully however he will probably need some game time with the under-20’s before being involved in first team action.”

QUEEN’S PARK’S head coach Gus MacPherson reckons that his side’s second goal in their 2-1 win over East Fife on Saturday was fit to win any game and it has to be a contender for the Goal of the Month competition.

Former Celtic kid Luke Donnelly grabbed the matchwinner six minutes into the second half with MacPherson saying: “The goal actually came from an East Fife free kick 25 yards from our goal. Kevin Smith curled it over the wall however Michael White was able to save the ball and keep hold of it.”

“He rolled it out to our left back Ciaran Summers who moved forward 30 yards before picking out Robbie Leitch.”

“He plays a first time onetwo with Luke before going up the wing where he sent in a cross with the outside of his foot. David Galt gets the ball and he back-heeled it to Luke who rolled a precise shot low into the net.”

“Moving from one of the pitch to the other with a onetwo, an outside of the foot cross and a back-heel means that the goal was a bit special and not just because it got us our first home win.”
