Missing man’s family left ‘broken and exhausted’

- By HOLLY LENNON

THE family of a missing Glasgow busker are ‘broken and exhausted’ and not looking to forward to Christmas Day without him.

Graham McAdam was last seen on Little Street in the Anderston area on November 21.

The 42-year-old had left his home in Knightswood earlier in the day for fresh air and to buy cigarettes but did not return.

Police say they received a possible sighting of Graham in Paisley, where he is originally from, on December 16 but could not confirm whether it was him.

His step-daughter Pamela Downey described the month he has been gone as ‘the longest four weeks ever’.

She added: “My mum is in bits, as a family we are exhausted, broken, completely out of ideas and just so worried. We know people will probably be sick of seeing his wee mug but I swear I’ve never wanted to see him more in my life.”

Colleen Warnock, Graham’s step-daughter, added: “As a family we are just trying to take every day as it comes.

“Unfortunately Christmas Day isn’t a day we are looking forward to.

“If this have taught you anything is that family is so important and you need to make time to see them because you don’t know what’s round the corner.”

The night prior to his disappearance, he had been busking at his usual spot close to the SSE Hydro and SECC, but did not have his guitar on him when he went missing.

Graham is described as 5ft, slim build with grey short hair.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a dark blue ‘Superdry’ lumberjack style jacket with green and yellow stripes and a white woollen collar.

Underneath he had a black ‘Killers’ T-shirt with white writing, dark jeans and black doc martin boots. He may also have been wearing a dark coloured woollen hat.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101.
