City busker Graham’s body found
THE heartbroken family of a busker missing from Knightswood for more than a month have confirmed that his body has been found.
Graham McAdam was reported missing on November 21 and was last seen in the Anderston area of the city.
His step-daughter Pamela Downey confirmed that his body had been found in the River Clyde in Erskine after a sevenweek search to find him.
She broke the news on social media. Police confirmed a body had been found and say a formal identification is yet to take place.

His step-daughter Pamela Downey confirmed his body had been found in the Clyde near Erskine after a seven-week search to find him. She broke the news on social media Graham’s wife Patricia McAdam, who had previously described his disappearance as “out of character”, paid tribute to her husband, and spoke of the “deep pain” she was feeling.
Graham was a popular face around Glasgow having been part of the busking community for over 20 years. He could often be seen performing near the SSE Hydro ahead of shows at the venue.
The day before his disappearance, he had entertained fans heading to see The Killers.
Pamela previously described the first month of his disappearance as “the longest four weeks ever”.
She added: “My mum is in bits, as a family we are exhausted, broken, completely out of ideas and just so worried.
“We know people will probably be sick of seeing his wee mug but I swear I’ve never wanted to see him more in my life.”
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland confirmed the body of a man was found near Ferry Road in Erskine at 10.35am on Saturday. Formal identification is yet to take place.
