More names sign up for Summer Sessions
KINGS of Leon, and Catfish and the Bottlemen have joined Kendrick Lamar as headliners for this year’s Summer Sessions.
It has previously been revealed that Kendrick Lamar would headline on the Wednesday and now more worldwide superstars have added their name to the card.
The three day event at Bellahouston Park will be held on August 22, 25 and 29.
Kings of Leon will be supported by The Wombats on August 22 and Catfish and the Bottlemen will be backed up by Glasgow rockers Twin Atlantic, DMA’s, Peace and Neon Waltz.
The final day will see hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar close the show in style after N.E.R.D – including Pharrell Williams – and Bugzy Malone perform their set.
Calvin Harris and Paolo Nutini lead a list of former headliners that also includes Biffy Clyro and Eminem.
The festival organisers announced that they were expanding the event and that Edinburgh will also welcome its first ever Summer Sessions in Princes Street Gardens this August.
Tickets for Glasgow Summer Sessions go on sale at 9am tomorrow.
Kings of Leon tickets will cost £55 at general admission prices with a £79.50 VIP cost.
Catfish and the Bottlemen will be £39.50 with VIP at £65.
Kendrick Lamar tickets have a general price of £59.50 with VIP coming in at £85.
