Revellers flock to festival
Thousands flock to watch top artists perform
THOUSANDS of music fans basked in the sunshine at the Riverside Festival on the banks of the River Clyde over the weekend.
The annual electronic music event was held beside the Riverside Museum with big name dance acts and DJs, including Slam, Leftfield and Joy Orbison performing for the crowds over the two days.
SCOTLAND’S biggest electronic music festival, Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival, brought thousands of revellers to Glasgow.
Crowds enjoyed the bank holiday weekend weather in the grounds of the award-winning Zaha Hadid designed Riverside Museum on the banks of the Clyde in Glasgow.
Co-curated by electronic legends Slam, Riverside brought the biggest and best artists from the cutting edge to the unique and iconic location.
Performers over the two-day event included Leftfield, Paula Temple, Lady Starlight, Dixon, Dax J, Green Velvet, Adam Beyer, Skream.
Glaswegian favourite Jackmaster brought his Mastermix Stage back with Saoirse and local lass IDA on the bill among others, alongside Sven Väth who hosts his Cocoon Stage.
Glasgow legends Slam curated and hosted their Pressure Stage.
For the first time the inside of the Museum was also open to festival goers, where there was an indoor dance floor sound tracked by Harri & Domenic, Dixon Avenue Basement James, Nightwaves and Becky Marshall.
DJ Sama (Palestine’s first DJ) also made her Scottish debut headlining the i ndoor stage yesterday.
