ALLAN McGREGOR A relatively quiet night for the Rangers goalkeeper all things considered. Could do nothing for the Ufa goal, but came up with a wonder save late on as he has done so often in his career, tipping away Sylvester Igboun’s header .................. 7 JAMES TAVERNIER The villain from the weekend’s match against Motherwell defended well in a more orthodox right-back role. Kept a cool head in possession and was assured in one-on-one situations .............................. 6 CONNOR GOLDSON A better showing from the defender than on Sunday, but still looked uncomfortable with balls in behind. When asked to defend onslaught of crosses in the second half though he stood up to the task ............ 6 NIKOLA KATIC In a similar vein to his defensive partner, was much more comfortable dealing with the aerial threat of Ufa than when they got the ball in behind or played through the centre .............................. 6

JON FLANAGAN Shaky from the off and was targeted as he continually failed to track the runs of Dmitri Sysuyev in behind him, which ultimately led to the Ufa man drawing his side level. Sent off to reduce Rangers to nine men, although he may feel hard done by with his second caution .................................. 4 RYAN JACK Worked tirelessly and screened his back four well without the presence of Coulibaly beside him. Got up to support the sporadic Rangers attacks as much as he could .......................... 7 OVIE EJARIA Looks to be finding his feet after an indifferent start at the Ibrox club, and scored an absolute rocket of a strike. Sacrificed his attacking instincts to help out with an admirable defensive shift in the second half too ............. 7 SCOTT ARFIELD Looked a little off the pace and struggled to really make an impact on the game. Full of effort, but didn’t get a hold of the midfield ...................... 5 DANIEL CANDEIAS A good outlet for Rangers in the first half and provided a real threat from the right, but was sacrificed at halftime.. 5 RYAN KENT Was a threat in the opening period and showed incredible fitness levels to carry the fight to Ufa in the second half too.. 7 ALFREDO MORELOS Oh dear. The Colombian let his side down with one of the cheapest dismissals you will ever see ................................ 3

SUBSTITUTES

KYLE LAFFERTY (For Candeias) On to provide a focal point for the 10 men of Rangers, but was forced out right to help Tavernier once they went down to nine. Used his experience to buy one or two free-kicks and tried to put himself about... 6 ANDY HALLIDAY (For Arfield) Fought valiantly for the cause on the left ........... 5
