Bright spark joins Killie as window closes
KILMARNOCK managed to complete a deal by bringing in Wolves forward Bright Enobakhare on loan until January.
The 20-year-old scored two goals in 26 appearances last season.
Killie boss Steve Clarke told his club’s website: “It’s great to have signed a player of Bright’s quality. He made a big contribution to Wolves’ promotionwinning season as they reached the English Premier League. I’d like to thank Wolves for giving us the opportunity to develop his talent here at Kilmarnock.”
Kilmarnock squeezed another signing in just before the deadline, bringing in 22-year-old midfielderJack Byrne from Oldham on a one-year deal.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international was on the books of Manchester City and Wigan.
Meanwhile, Dundee announced the departure of former Tottenham and QPR defender Steven Caulker.
Dundee confirmed the signing of Celtic left-back Calvin Miller on loan for the season.
Reports claim Aston Villa failed with a similar loan offer for Aberdeen’s Scott McKenna with a view to buying the defender in January for £7million.
St Mirren have signed Ryan Edwards on a season-long loan from Hearts.
The Australian midfielder only moved to Tynecastle in the summer after making more than 100 appearances for Partick Thistle.
But he has been allowed to move back west after failing to make a first-team appearance for the Ladbrokes Premiership leaders.
