Take That fans left disappointed after Glasgow concert ticket fiasco

- BY HOLLY LENNON

TAKE That fans have been left disappointed after failing to get their hands on tickets for their greatest hits show.

Fans took to social media to express their anger at being kicked out of the ticketing site while trying to buy.

Ticketmaster is said to have crashed when thousands tried to purchase tickets at the same time.

Technical issues pushed some people to the back of the queue while others were greeted with ‘sold out’ messages.

The tickets were going for £110 each for their Hydro shows next April.

Issues were flagged up earlier in the week when fans attempted to get access to presale.

Many were left frustrated after failing to get their tickets secured before they went on general release.

Jennifer Gabb posted on Twitter: “Any tickets left in Glasgow on the 20th or have I been held in a queue online since exactly 9.30am for sweet nothing?”

Another user sent a message to Ticketmaster venting their frustration.

She said: “Will you be releasing more Take That tickets for Glasgow? Was in a queue for 25 minutes from 9.30am to be told there are none left”

Digitaldeviildj asked: “@ TicketmasterUK are Take That tickets still available for Glasgow?

“I have been queuing since 9.30am and keep getting kicked out.”

Julie Law added: “Extra date please in Glasgow.

“Tried for three days and nothing.”

To celebrate 30 years of the band – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – will be reimagining some of their favourite songs on the tour.

Lucky for fans, they have also written some new ones to play as part of the shows as well.
