Vandals on night of rampage
VANDALS have continued their rampage in Glasgow’s South Side.
Young thugs carried out a wrecking spree in the area three nights in a row causing damage to shop fronts and bus shelters.
Police Scotland have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The Evening Times told earlier this week how bus shelters from Battlefield to Muirend had been smashed.
More damage was caused on Wednesday night before three shop fronts were attacked on Thursday evening.
The culprits are believed to be teenagers with local reports saying golf clubs were used to carry out the crimes.
Our pictures show the damage to independent shops Southside Gallery, Glasgow Osteopathic Centre and Stitch Social Media.
All three sit along Battlefield Road and were attacked just after 7pm on Thursday night.
The phone box on the corner of Battlefield Rd and Dundrennan Road was also smashed.
And on Tuesday and Wednesday, bus shelters along the route of the number 6 bus had the glass shattered.
Community members said the culprits were teenagers, ranging from 12 to around 16.
It is not know if the same group of youngsters are involved in each of the attacks.
Police Scotland said no arrests have been made but they are investigating.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Officers are investigating after youths smashed a number of windows and bus shelters on Battlefield Road, Glasgow, shortly after 7pm on Thursday night.
“No one has yet been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
A council spokesman earlier this week branded the thugs “pathetic” following the vandalism to six bus shelters.
Workmen repaired the damage, which the council says comes at significant cost.
One shopkeeper said repairs to the windows would cost around £700 to repair and replace the broken glass.
