•Tomorrow afternoon will see one of the most colourful festive celebrations: the

Style Mile

Christmas

Carnival. Kicking off at 2.30pm and tracing the streets from St Enoch Square to George Square for an hour and finishing in the heart of the Christmas market. Expect princesses and princes or nutcracker costumes, as the theme for this year’s event is festive fairy tale. The acts and performances are expected to last around an hour, but the Christmas mood will go well on into the afternoon and night. The event is free, so get down to St Enoch Square in good time to be in with a chance of a roadside view, and bring your most extravagant festive get-up.

•Sunday will see Glasgow’s

Hydro play host to Sheffield deathcore rockers Bring

Me the Horizon. Glasgow is just the third date in their new First Love tour, which accompanies new album Amo, set to launch in the new year. The band are expected to play new tracks Mantra and Wonderful Life, described as “twitchy, glitchy electronica” with huge festival choruses, alongside their biggest hits of the last 10 years. With a history of explosive live performances and the energy of a new tour, this won’t be a gig to miss. Tickets are priced from £36.90, plus booking fees, via https:// www.thessehydro.com/ events/detail/ bring-me-the-horizon
