WELCOME in the festive season at the annual Riverside Christmas

Festival being held today and tomorrow at the Riverside Museum.

The annual event promises festive fun for all the family.

So pack up the whole clan and enjoy a traditiona­l Christmas market in the Victorian street where you can get into the festive spirit as you browse the many stalls for stocking fillers and unusual gifts.

The event square will be transforme­d into a traditiona­l fairground with free rides and carousels for all to hop on board and enjoy.

If that isn’t enough, why not combine it with a visit to see Santa in The Tall Ship grotto?

Mix Magic, one of the UK’s best

Little Mix tribute bands to put on a show like no other.

With a combinatio­n of amazing singing, dancing, costumes and production, this is a night of guaranteed fun that you do not want to miss.

Doors will open tonight at 7pm and kids will have full use of the soft play centre until the show starts at 7.30pm.

The girls will perform many of Little Mix’s top hits including Shout Out To My Ex, Black Magic and many more before a short break where refreshmen­ts will be available from The concert will end at approximat­ely 9pm.

A FESTIVE fair encouragin­g people to shop local and shop independen­t will be coming to The Cellar Southside in Cathcart today from 11am to 3pm.

A selection of local artists and creatives will be selling their wares inside, while Pop Right Up will be outside with their Piaggio Ape serving woodfired pizza for all and hot mulled wine and mulled gin will be available from noon.

Live music will be provided by talented local girl Charly Houston who will play a selection of upbeat favourites with her trusty guitar.
