DRUM and pipe band Drums N Roses will be taking over Buchanan Street at 12.30pm today with a live public performance.

The charity performance is aiming to raise much-needed funds to help combat homelessness.

This will be the second year running the group will perform outside in the icy December cold to collect clothing and financial donations for sufferers of homelessness in Scotland.

THE Secret Film Society is a Glasgow based monthly meet up for anyone interested in anything related to the big screen. Once a month, participants meet up and talk about their favourite movies, discuss all the latest releases and then show a movie on a big screen projector. Each month’s film screening will be chosen by the members of the group.

Head along to R-CADE at the Saltmarket tonight at 7pm for this year’s last event. Tickets cost £5.92 per person, with booking fee, and include arcade passes and free popcorn.
