On-loan Liverpool winger open to making switch to Ibrox permanently

RYAN KENT inspired Rangers to a famous Old Firm win over Celtic and admitted he would be open to extending his stay at Ibrox beyond the end of the season.

The winger moved north of the border on loan from Liverpool in the summer and quickly became an integral part of Steven Gerrard’s side in the Premiership and Europa League.

But he produced his finest performance of the campaign so far on Saturday as the Light Blues moved level on points with their title rivals at the top of the table. Now the 22-year-old could look to remain at Ibrox after revelling in a thrilling derby victory that ended Rangers’ long wait for a win over their Old Firm rivals.
