THE much-loved and highly popular Christmas market in George Square winds down today for another year. Be sure to head along for one last sip of mulled wine where there have been over 50 traders from across the globe delighting us with a massive feast since last month.

Also find plenty of artisan products and high quality crafts. Take a slide down the vintage Helter Skelter, people-watch from the vintage carousel, then take a well-earned final rest in the beautifully crafted authentic German bars, serving traditional beers and Glühwein.

The market will close at 6pm today. Free to attend.

ONE of

Glasgow’s longest-running outdoor

Hogmanay parties will be returning for the

13th year running.

The Buff Club team will be scrubbing up their little patch on Bath Lane, bringing in a bar, a stage, bands, DJs and a piper to bring in the bells.

There’s no better way to welcome in 2019, so be sure to get down and celebrate under a disco ball, with good music, good people and good times.

Tickets on sale via eventbrite. co.uk and include entry to both the club and lane party. Nearby Lola’s on Bath Street will also be having a bash tonight, with tickets available to buy from skiddle.com.
