THE National Theatre’s acclaimed production of War Horse lands at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo from tonight.

It tells the remarkable story of courage, loyalty and friendship, focussing on a young boy called Albert and his horse Joey.

Set against the backdrop of the First World War, it’s the most successful play in the National Theatre’s history.

War Horse features groundbreaking puppetry work by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, which brings breathing, galloping horses to life on stage.

The show will run until February 2.

JOIN one of the UK’s youngest psychic mediums, Dominic Boag, for a private, one-to-one reading at the Hallmark Hotel tonight.

Private readings with Dominic are personal and intimate, allowing him to fully focus.

During the reading, he will be able to “blend” with spirit families and friends and explore memories shared.

The medium says he will “ask them to come close as ever to help me hear, see and feel them” in order to deliver personal messages.

THE lifeaffirming, song-and-dance-filled, Scottish musical drama Glasgow Girls kicks of its run at the King’s Theatre tonight.

Based on the true story of seven feisty Glaswegian teenagers, it tells the story of how their lives change forever when their school friend and her asylum-seeking family are forcibly taken from their home to be deported.

They are galvanised to fight for her rights, inspiring a whole community to unite behind its residents.

The unmissable show was an Edinburgh Fringe sell out in 2016 and winner of the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award.
