“Over time, I became reckless in my behaviour.

“I tried to take a shortcut across a railway track and I was electrocuted and knocked unconscious for two hours.

“I woke up and realised my legs were on fire and managed to call an ambulance.

“As a result, I lost both my legs and my embarrassment and guilt for what had happened lost years of my life.

“Fortunately, my brother helped to put me in touch with Cor Hutton who runs Finding Your Feet the amputee charity.

“Cor and all the team at Finding Your Feet have helped me to turn my life around and find my feet in life again and hopefully the Billboard will raise awareness of the work of the charity.”

The 20ft tall billboard campaign regularly features Skypark tenants as models and is visible alongside the Clydeside Expressway, the gateway to the city centre and the west end.

Skypark’s Strategic Lettings Advisor, Angela Higgins of Resonance Capital added: “The Billboard recognises Paul’s courage and efforts in helping young people who might be struggling in life and also to make people aware of the vital difference Cor Hutton’s Finding Your Feet charity makes to the amputee community.”
