The problem is that Nicola Sturgeon wants to take every opportunit­y to play politics with the pandemic. Slow to act, and insensitiv­e to the needs of millions in the country, quite clearly she should have opened up the lockdown much quicker.

Good old Jackson Carlaw (pictured) and the Scottish branch of the Tory party... goes crazy on Twitter criticisin­g every single thing about the Scottish Government and Nicola Sturgeon, but when one of their own got caught breaking the rules down south – complete radio silence!

The Scottish Government have made mistakes, but the hypocrisy of Carlaw and his party is mind-boggling! But given the fact the Johnson government is built on lies after lies after lies, nothing should be a shock.

All the deaths in Scotland’s care homes are nothing to do with the SNP government. They can do no wrong. They took the people out of the hospitals and put them in to the care homes. And did not test anyone for the coronaviru­s. But the extreme SNP supporters keep telling us that they have done a great job with the coronaviru­s?
