Returning to school could spark case surge

-

IT’S very well for so- called experts to say that kids at school will have little or indeed no symptoms of Covid and be safe but do they not see the bigger impact of kids spreading the virus to primary parents and grandparents not to mention teachers themselves?

I know kids must be seen to get a education but there maybe some collateral damage along the way.

We cannot let this virus destroy society and our way of life, just like the Spanish Flu just over 100 years ago it will run its coarse and disappear as quick as it started.

However massive job losses

I feel are unjustified and lifethreatening illnesses like cancer and heart disease will now have excess deaths due to lack of treatment because of Covid.

We cannot let this virus control our lives. Can anyone tell what 51 is of five million people percentage? Because that was the amount of new cases on August 28. The truth is that many people have contracted this virus and don’t even know, because without the whole nation being tested we will never know.

I’m asking Nicola Sturgeon to stop playing politics. What I have seen so far from Ms Sturgeon is that she always does the exact opposite from Boris Johnson.

The Scottish economy is going to have very tough time ahead, more so than most.

OUT for my normal walk and I couldn’t help but notice the amount of localised flooding after the heavy rain.

This is happening more frequently and I think the main contributing factors are the drains which are constantly clogged up with muck and leaves.

It would appear preventative maintenance is a thing of the past. When was the last time anyone spotted a drain being cleaned out in Glasgow?

Never mind, the newly painted cycle lanes look just lovely, pity so many cyclists will continue to use the pavements.

IS the new media version of describing retirees as quitters the new method of society attacking older people.

As a person 65+ I take huge exception to people of that age and older who are leaving work for retirement reasons to be described as quitting their work. After decades of paying into the tax system with one of the lowest pensions, we are now accused of being quitters.

Or is it purely reserved for SNP politicians?
