RATINGS Celtic

-

CONOR HAZARD

The goalkeeper saved well from Joe Newell, Kevin Nisbet, Melker Hallberg and Jamie Murphy. Then missed the ball completely at Hibernian’s last- gasp equaliser.

JEREMIE FRIMPONG

Quiet. Made far less of an impact going forward than he had in the games leading up to the now infamous Dubai break.

STEPHEN WELSH

The youngster has played against Rangers and AC Milan this season so he wasn’t fazed about being drafted in to the starting line- up. Performed admirably.

SHANE DUFFY

A surprise and controversial inclusion at centre- half. But the Irishman’s experience proved invaluable to Celtic.

DIEGO LAXALT

4 The Uruguayan gave away the late free- kick that Hibs equalised from needlessly.

CALLUM MCGREGOR

Worked tirelessly. Volleyed wide of goal after being supplied by David Turnbull just before half- time.

ISMAILA SORO

Gifted Newell a free shot at goal with a misplaced header shortly after the game kicked off. Picked up a booking for persistent fouling. Forced a good save from Matt Macey.

DAVID TURNBULL

Excellent. Put Celtic in front with a sublime free- kick.

TOM ROGIC

6 Caused the visitors problems with his trickery in the first- half. Drifted out of the game and was hooked.

MIKEY JOHNSTON

6 Teed up Cameron Harper with the best Celtic chance of the first- half after pinching the ball off of Newell.

CAMERON HARPER

The teenage American was handed his first team debut. Hit the side- netting with a shot in the first half. Went off with cramp.

Substitutes ARMSTRONG OKO- FLEX

( for Harper, 61) Put himself about.

EWAN HENDERSON 3 ( for Rogic, 67) Lifted Celtic’s energy levels.

KARAMOKO DEMBELE

( for Johnston, 79) Hardly involved.
