Views wanted on homes plan

THE plans to build 700 homes at Lancefield Quay should be submitted to Glasgow City Council this spring.

Local people are being invited to view and give feedback on the proposals which seek to create a “vibrant community”.

An ambitious masterplan to regenerate the four-acre site which has lain vacant since 2007 has been proposed under the joint venture GDRI Europe.

The plans include 400 build-to-rent homes, 300 private homes for sale, landscaped public and green spaces, private car parking spaces including electric charging points and cycle parking.

The digital consultation will allow people to chat directly with the project team via the project website or on the phone.

It will take place on February 4, between 3-7pm, by phoning 0800 987 5990 or on lancefield-quay.com.
