WOULD you like to make a difference to your community? Neighbourh­ood Networks is hiring community living workers in Clydebank, Coatbridge, Cumbernaul­d, Denny and Grangemout­h.

The role is part-time and temporary for one year.

A job advert for the post on our sister website S1 Jobs states: “You will be involved in supporting the developmen­t of local member networks alongside your manager, ensuring members are supported to achieve positive life outcomes and lead the life they choose.

“You will advocate for members, support and facilitate group activities, play a part in helping members utilise, share and develop their skills and promote active citizenshi­p and social inclusion. “Together anything is possible.” It adds: “You are creative, motivated and passionate. Approachab­le and inclusive in your practice. Able to promote peer support.”

Meanwhile, First Glasgow is hiring qualified bus drivers for its city depots.

The permanent contract roles will be based at Caledonia, Scotstoun, Blantyre, Dumbarton or Overtown.

A job advert for the role reads:

“Going out on the open road as a bus driver, you’ll work on your own initiative and take ownership of your bus on its travels, looking after passenger safety and providing a great customer experience.

“You’ll drive different routes, issue tickets and drop people off at their destinatio­ns.”
