WILSONS Workwear kicks off 2021 with a record month of sales, and supplying excellent quality goods to key tradespeople.
With the news of a fresh lockdown and the growing worries of the pandemic at hand, Wilsons Workwear had the same concerns as every other business in Scotland - how to cope during such unprecedented times with minimal impact to the business.
However when sales started rolling in, the company quickly found out that they had found their niche with the handpicked selection of products they have stocked in their store.
With some of the hottest products on the shelves, Wilsons Workwear has seen orders flying out the door with many customers desperate to be placed on waiting lists for their highly anticipated stock arrivals.
Owner Andrew McLellan said; “It has been very busy over the last two months. People are starting to get the word out about the amazing quality brands we stock and it’s growing the demand rapidly. We are very happy!”
With virtual queues coming out the door, it has been a dream few weeks for the company, and they are just getting started, as they plan on releasing a brand new and highly anticipated outdoor line for their valued customers.
Marketing manager Mollie Houston said; “It’s been a dream come true for us, it’s like the marketing did itself! We are so excited for the launch of our outdoor line that I can’t wait to show customers on our mailing list a peak - I know they will love it!”
With this exceptional amount of demand, the company has been focused on its next steps. McLellan said; “We are now looking at expanding our offices to a new site in Hillington where we can meet demand for our products and start to branch out into other areas of the business. It’s a very exciting time for us right now and we are making some big steps in the industry - it’s going to be great!”
It seems to be a rare success story in times like these but it shows that correct business moves do pay off in the long run, we hope to see the continued growth of Wilsons Workwear in the future and their expansion into new markets.
