Meanwhile, leading charity Action for Children is hiring a residential worker in Glasgow’s South Side.
The role is permanent, part-time, and a four shifts on, four shifts off rolling pattern.
The post states: “Working in residential care is both challenging and rewarding.
“Our aim is to give every young person we work with the support and guidance to reach their potential and support their aspirations for a positive future, and this is a vital part of our work.
“As a residential worker you will be working in our residential service, supporting three young people in long-term residential care with various learning difficulties who can also often display challenging behaviour. Although based within the residential service, we also have a short-break service offering respite for young people with various learning difficulties who also can also present with a range challenging behaviours.
“There is an expectation that staff work across both services. Both services are based in Eastwood in the South Side of Glasgow.”
