Show off your talents and win £1000

- BY STACEY MULLEN

LET’S see your talents,’ is the message from our Head of Social Media at the Glasgow Times. Jamie Shuttleworth knows how to spot a viral video and has urged those entering the Glasgow Times Talent contest to keep their content short and engaging.

The videos that stand out the most will be in the running to win a £1000 cash prize.

Jamie said: “One of the social media platforms to really take off in lockdown is TikTok.

“Whether it is singing, dancing or doing comedy sketches, many of us have been watching or taking part in these latest trends on our phones.

“Lockdown has meant that we have not being able to show off our talents on stage, in the playground or down the local after a few... but with short videos we are able to consume and engage with the content we love.

“It is something we, as a newspaper, try to create for you too. Whether it is bringing the news directly live to your newsfeed, showing funny viral videos or having an open discussion about mental health. “So let’s see your talents!” Yesterday we revealed we are on the hunt for Glasgow’s best lockdown talent.
