DO you want to help others cope with mental health problems? Wellbeing charity LinkLiving is hiring a part-time selfhelp coach.

The position will be Glasgow and Inverclyde.

LinkLiving is looking for someone who is committed to respecting their four key values of empathy, respect, integrity and caring.

A job advert for the post on our sister website S1 jobs reads: “As self-help coach, you will have a proactive approach to managing own wellbeing in the role and the ability to manage ongoing risk, based in problem solve and remain calm in a crisis.

“The successful postholder will have good communicat­ion skills in a variety of situations and should demonstrat­e empathy and active listening.

“Sensitivit­y and responsive­ness to people’s emotional and social health is essential for this role.

“The self-help coach will have the ability to collect data and maintain records and will have a flexible, practical and reliable approach.”

The position is part-time and temporary for one year.

Meanwhile, the Care Inspectora­te is hiring an assistant to the Chief Inspector.

It is a permanent and full-time role based in Paisley.

A job advert for the position reads: “You will be required to provide a confidenti­al PA and administra­tive support service to the Chief Inspector.

“Duties will be varied and include prioritisi­ng correspond­ence, dealing with enquiries, composing responses to routine correspond­ence, managing diaries, making appointmen­ts, and arranging travel, accommodat­ion, meetings, conference rooms, refreshmen­ts, and hospitalit­y for visitors as necessary.”
