DO you want to help others cope with mental health problems? Wellbeing charity LinkLiving is hiring a part-time selfhelp coach.
The position will be Glasgow and Inverclyde.
LinkLiving is looking for someone who is committed to respecting their four key values of empathy, respect, integrity and caring.
A job advert for the post on our sister website S1 jobs reads: “As self-help coach, you will have a proactive approach to managing own wellbeing in the role and the ability to manage ongoing risk, based in problem solve and remain calm in a crisis.
“The successful postholder will have good communication skills in a variety of situations and should demonstrate empathy and active listening.
“Sensitivity and responsiveness to people’s emotional and social health is essential for this role.
“The self-help coach will have the ability to collect data and maintain records and will have a flexible, practical and reliable approach.”
The position is part-time and temporary for one year.
Meanwhile, the Care Inspectorate is hiring an assistant to the Chief Inspector.
It is a permanent and full-time role based in Paisley.
A job advert for the position reads: “You will be required to provide a confidential PA and administrative support service to the Chief Inspector.
“Duties will be varied and include prioritising correspondence, dealing with enquiries, composing responses to routine correspondence, managing diaries, making appointments, and arranging travel, accommodation, meetings, conference rooms, refreshments, and hospitality for visitors as necessary.”
