Dad threatened cops checking up on him
ADAD caught acting “abnormally” threatened two cops who tried to check he was ok.
Lee Hynd was in a common stairwell in a block of flats on Kirkton Avenue, in Knightswood, when police were called.
Two officers attended at the scene around 4.45am on February 29 last year and tried to check Hynd’s welfare.
Depute fiscal Jamie Grant told Glasgow Sheriff Court the 31-year-old then began kicking off.
Mr Grant said: “Officers asked the accused if he was ok to ascertain his welfare as his behaviour was abnormal.
“He replied: ‘What’s it got to do with you?’
“The police officers asked him to provide his details and he replied: ‘I’m going to make it difficult for you.’”
Hynd, from Summerston, then continued to refuse to provide his details.

But he then became abusive and said: “I’ll kick your face,” and “I’ll break your nose.”
Hynd’s defence brief told the court he was “very” drunk at the time of the offence and his words were all “bravado”.
He said his client is currently unemployed, living with his parents and about to become a dad for the second time.
The lawyer said: “He was very much under the influence of alcohol. arrested and cautioned.
“These words were said as a result of bravado, there was never any violence used.
“He is 31 years with his parents.
“At the moment he employment.
“He has a child from a previous relationship who lives in Edinburgh with his mother. old and is lives not in
“He is about to become a father for the second time in three to four weeks.”
Sheriff Mary Shields sentenced Hynd to 80 hours of unpaid work to be completed within 12 months.
This was reduced from 100 hours thanks to his early guilty plea.
