Frustration over people flouting face covering rule
IAGREE with your recent correspondents on mask dodgers in the city. From what I’ve witnessed on public transport it appears to be teenagers who blatantly flout the rules.
I also agree that bus drivers should refuse access to these youngsters.
It it also the same in supermarkets and in shopping centre. It should be no mask, no entry.
If it stops them buying their cigarettes or alcopops it might make them think differently. Moira Lewis

JUST looking through the TV schedule for Hallowe’en and, looking at the terrestrial channels, you would be excused for thinking that Hallowe’en had been cancelled.
Where is the imagination of these TV planners?
We surely deserve better than the dross being served up at weekends.

WHAT a disgrace to close Kelvingrove museum one of the jewels in Glasgow’s crown.
Perhaps with all the international delegates coming a few might have spotted some of the exhibits that were allegedly ‘acquired’ from their country many years ago and would want them back?

PEOPLE make Glasgow, but only a few people are able to fully participate in Glasgow.
Westminster has an exclusive village for the few and so has Glasgow – it’s called the City Chambers.

CELTIC are not chasing or coming at anyone (Rangers fired ‘Celtic are coming at you’ warning by former player, Glasgow Times online).
The team is blending and recovering from injuries. The defence is looking slightly better with each game and the forward play is sublime. I think we need a couple of additions in January but this side is knitting together. Ciaran O’Fiach

AROUND 2.8 million Scots are on benefits (Sunak ‘fails own test of moral duty’ in Budget over Universal Credit, Thursday).
That’s more than the working population. Okay, some can’t work but come on something is wrong.
Imagine what taxpayers would have to pay in an independent Scotland just to cover benefits.
